For the duration of the tenancy, our team will handle the collection of rent on a periodic basis in accordance with the terms of the Tenancy Agreement. In further action is required, we will carry out the necessary procedures and keep you updated at every stage of the process.
Given the fluctuation in the rental market over the past few years, LCP will endeavour to achieve the best possible rent increase for your property. As stated in our contracts, these will be at or above the current rate of RPI, and therefore are in line with market rates. Rent reviews occur at the end of all tenancies, and will be annual thereafter.
Our Accounts team are your first point of contact for all finance related queries in relation to your rental property. They will issue you with landlord statements as per your chosen frequency, as well as providing you with annual income and expenditure reports to summarise the returns on your buy to let. For properties owned by an overseas company or trust, we assist with the annual submission of the overseas entity’s declaration. In addition, for non-UK resident landlords, we can issue the quarterly and annually landlord returns to HMRC on your behalf.
